Course Description
The race course is located one block south of the historic North Carolina State Capitol building which provides a stunning visual backdrop to the start/finish on Fayetteville Street.
The recently restored Fayetteville Street is the historical main street of Raleigh. The course features a 1 kilometer “L” shaped circuit with 6 corners, wide city streets, and a slight uphill grade along Blount, Martin, and Wilmington streets.
The start/finish line is approximately 150 meters from the last corner. Race direction is counter-clockwise.
